The Republic of Trinidad and Tobago is located in the Southern Caribbean. It is an archipelago state. Trinidad and Tobago are the two main islands of the country and there are twenty-one smaller islands. Trinidad is much larger than Tobago in both size and population. The nation is outside the hurricane belt. Trinidad is a continuation of Mount Andes, which makes for a beautiful view. The other part of the island consists of swamps fed by rivers.

Maracas Bay is the longest bay in Trinidad and is very famous for swimming. Mayaro beach is a beach in Trinidad, a very quiet beach and tourists can relax there easily. Marine Bay is another important bay near Trinidad. Trinidad Manzanilla Beach is a brownish, gray and sand-stripped beach with the Atlantic Ocean on one side and the palm on the other; it is again a tourist attraction. The Carib and Angostura brewery in Trinidad is the famous breweries.

The Royal Botanical Garden of Trinidad is a garden with various shrubs, trees and also an orchid house. Devil’s wood yard is a famous volcano in Trinidad erupting, this is a beautiful sight to see. The La Brea Pitch Lake in Trinidad releases asphalt from the depth below and is the largest of the three asphalt lakes. Piparo Mud Volcano is another volcano in Trinidad that erupts and releases mud into the air at a great distance. There is a nature center Asa Wright, one of the largest and oldest nature reserves in Trinidad. There used to be a cocoa and coffee plantation here, but now there are different types of birds that tourists from all over the world come to watch. There is a bird sanctuary in Trinidad where the birds fly over the mangrove trees and sleep there and the tourists observe it with binoculars from the boats with the help of the guides.
