By far the most populous state in the United States, California currently has 37,691,912 people according to the states of 2011. Since then, California has experienced massive influxes of people and financial prosperity even today. Now, the Golden State is not only recognized as the centre of the US entertainment market, thanks to Hollywood, but it is also identified as a retail and technology leader with the growth of Silicon Valley.

If you’re not necessarily interested in being the next actor or Mark Zuckerberg, but would rather pursue a career in public aid, there are federal government jobs in California that you can enrol in. There are many federal agencies located in or with offices in California that make it easier to find employment. For example, the United States Army Corps of Engineers, under the Department of the Army, is looking for a supervising civil engineer in the Construction Division of the United States Army Engineering District in Los Angeles, the Directorate of Contract Administration.

The United States Army Medical Command also has the ability to fill various positions in San Bernardino County, Monterey and other areas. It is generally the medical profession. They need psychologists, nurses and social workers, among others. The Department of Veterans Affairs, the Department of Health of Veterans Affairs, the Department of Veterans Affairs, also assigns medical staff (nurses, social workers, psychologists, etc.) and non-medical professions (administrative staff).
